October unleashed an onslaught of pumpkin spiced drink and food items. The news jokes daily that the pumpkin spice craze must be stopped. But I say bring it on, find more ways to use it. I infused rum with fresh baked pumpkin, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla. It definitely leans on the desert end of the sweetness spectrum. Just keep an open mind and rest assured by Thanksgiving it will be time for Gingerbread Madness to begin.
